Until June, in the park: La Folie des Folies

German artist Cornelia Konrads creates site-specific installations. Her artwork, made using natural materials like branches, leaves and stones, is inspired by the forms present in the landscape reimagined to reveal their poetic, comical and magical aspects.

For the Garenne Lemot estate, the artist designed four new follies, inspired by the historical follies present in the park, reimagined to create intriguing, surreal stories. At the entrance to the estate, the statues of Hippomenes and Atalanta play an unconventional game and set the tone for her other installations located along the paths of the park.

This Voyage à Nantes project was co-produced by the Loire-Atlantique Department, owner of the Garenne Lemot estate.

  • Until June 2021
  • All ages - Free admission
